This lead to one of Otto's best decisions yet, he called Salsa For Singles and joined the lessons in order to improve his dancing and make new friends. Now with the help and experience from professional Latin dancer, Betty Colón, Otto's dancing skills grew in leaps and bounds. Betty saw his potential and asked him to be her dance partner and performer. Betty and Otto were also asked to be the first in Canada to help promote Toronto's Tourism by performing and teaching a Salsa lesson aboard an authentic VIA Rail party car! They are always first in helping to expand the feeling you get from dancing Salsa. Now with the confidence and of course the experience, Otto has become one of our Instructors here at Salsa For Singles and The Salsa Social Club.Knowing his struggles and accomplishments, Otto is a meticulous instructor and wants to make sure his students understand the importance of musical timing and of course the most neglected of basic steps. He wants his students not only to feel the music, but also understand what makes you want to move! Persistance and practice is what leads to success.
